Hi, I’m Kelley.
I spent twenty years in talent and operations, building teams, fixing messy systems, and helping people inside other companies. I loved the helping part most. A simple thank you from someone I helped has always been everything to me.
When I started over and found bookkeeping, everything clicked. Organization, numbers, and helping people, all in one job. I dove in, worked with businesses whose books were genuinely tangled, and found out I love this work. Especially the messy projects. In February 2026, True North Co. became official, and I have been a Hugo, MN bookkeeper ever since.
Here is what I know about myself: what bothers me is not knowing. If a loan balance does not tie out or a deposit does not make sense, I cannot leave it alone. I ask questions, I dig, and I explain what I find in normal language. That is the whole approach.
And yes, the 303 phone number is Colorado. Born and raised there, went to the University of Northern Colorado, and Minnesota is home now. It opens more conversations than any business card ever has.
